Dont like fighting it myself. Anything over 15 usually keeps me at bay especially at reelfoot with all the stumps...
Worst year for wind I have ever seen.
I was painting my house! Wind sho helps that paint surface dry fast so I could put a second coat on in no time!Got about 2/3rds painted and the rain came and shut down my operation. Gonna go back and finish tomorrow and be fishin again real soon!

What affect does the wind have on the fish? If the boating weren't so difficult, would you be out there fishing?
Your question is a little confusing.I think the wind affects them when they are in a foot of water.The wind don't stop me,I can only fish weekends so I will do whatever it takes and try to do it safely.

Yes they bite when it's windy raining snowing some of the best days are in these conditions.

Thanks SlabLapper, I will pay attention to barometric pressure. I'm asking all this because I bank fish and the wind doesn't bother me that much, I just didn't know how the fish felt about it. My work schedule allows me lots of opportunities to fish, and I'm close enough that the cost isn't a big factor. Still, I'd rather not be wasting my time on hopeless causes.Quote:
