I'm ashamed report my trip.
Been at work all weekend
Worked all weekend, will be friday before I can wet a line again. Just hope all this bad weather will be gone and the water cleared back up by then.

Caught 3 fri morning - 3 in the afternoon and 2 sat morning. All from yak - AL river
One in pic measured just over 15"
We fished...139. Only 25 keepers. Only a few even looked like they had eggs....I think the fish in my creek. Mud...Weiss have already spawned .....lots of 9-1/2" very few keepers...water 63. Low water conditions. Waiting on the dock shooting time...

I didn't realize you were a board member, wished I'd said "Hi". It was a slow day for me until I found them in that little 30 foot area stacked up. Alexava fished the same area Sunday afternoon and they weren't biting.

Spent some time at the Blooming festival in Cullman with the wife scored major brownie points.
Caught 20. They were some nice ones too.
fished liddel, pine barren and fosters on alabama river saturday -5 over 1/14 lb. only bites came right next to cypress trees, 5ft of water, temp was 68- 70, on minners
DB of course they wern't biting by the time Alexa got to them. You had wore them out so bad and left them all with a case of sore mouth they was scared to bite anything else! LoL
I'll use that excuse. Thanks BobD. I know I'm not on the level with ditch , but in the exact same spot and not a nibble. Those fish moved and he released several. I only had about 3 1/2 hours to fish and didn't have time to try much else but I was sure my old buddy had put me on a quick limit. Just not in the cards that day.

i saw some floating fish too, we only caught fish in 7 feet of water there Friday. Were you trolling or minnow fishing or float and fly? we were trolling.
trolling southern pro grubs. best colors purple shad, weiss lake killer, acid rain. caught most fish in the left hand povket past the marina
