Yep GI can opener.....used one many times
P 38 to be exact
P13 or something . Used to carry one on my key ring .
I know it's a can opener.
"G" got it. Use to have one on my key ring in the Navy. Sill have it here somewhere.
I would say P-38 !!!
Some called it P-38. Carried one on my dog tag chain.. C-rations came with one in the box.
Yep,still got a couple around here some where. Carried one for years.
Well everybody already nailed it. We called the P38s. Opened a few C-Rations with one. One time I was opening a C-Ration can of some kind of meat and it had stamped on it "Packed at Marnat Packing Company, Bennetsville SC"
That was my home town and the Marnat Packing Company's main product was Big Time Dog Food. I traded my can for a can of peaches.
Used one too but I aint no geezer!!

Alabama hands oughta know what it is. The tin can was invented there in 1823. Eight years later they invented the can opener.
I had my dads from Vietnam for years had all my keys and my 38 stolen and have yet to find a new one to replace it ( oh two tours in Vietnam and one in Korea ) I was born in an army hospital in OD green diapers at a cost of 11 dollars in Dothan Alabama area FT Rucker
