we don't have any frogs left up here much. used to we had lots of really big frogs and had no problem getting a scack full. we didn't gig we caught them with hands mostly. they still have some over in the delta but not much in the hills.
we didn't catch em all they just slowing dissappeared but you hardly ever see a bullfrog up here that would be big enough.
My buddies been grabbing em by the sackful. My job prevents me from goin. aint no fun without a frost top soda pop and stayin out all night
That's a shame you don't have many left. We have plenty up here..my little ole 3/4 acre pond kept us in legs most of the summer. We have a nice sized creek that runs thru the property and they continually migrate up that creek to my pond, and I accommodate them every chance I get. Love it.
I SHOULD be able to find them on the rez. Know 3 or 4 spots that I can drive right down to and put in. I will be totin my pistol for gators n snakes though JUST IN CASE
Don't get caught shooting a gator without a gator permit or if out of season...pretty high fine lol
We used to grab frogs a lot by hand when I was young. We always went to the delta. Big C caught one in the middle-of-the-road of Hugh White state park last weekend. I don't know what that big ole frog was doing up in the hills.
So you using nessa for gator bait . The last bunch i caught was in the pearl river swamp , caught them by hand . The second big cotton mouth turned me away .
I will gladly provide the boat , gig , fish basket and motor. I will be following you with the much larger camera boat. Nessa will remain with us until you make it through the first few. I will be playing the theme to "jaws" for effect and enjoyment of all your fans on YouTube. P.S. Wear a depend if you have one
Lake Washington is full of slow, easy to catch frogs. Right down from my house. Easy, easy. Nothing to it
Is there a certain species of frogs to look for? I heard there is a poisonous species that we don't want to eat. Is this true? Or is a bull frog just a bull frog?
Don't think you can eats toads. You shouldn't find much more than bull frogs around the waters edge anyway though.
Bullfrogs is all we used to go after. She said she's game for it. Well, she'll try it to see if she likes it. We had some 10-12 foot gators in the pond we used to gig in. They ain't gonna mess with ya but I will have my pistol with me just in case lol
Id stick with taekwonso on dem gators! Big fine for shootin one outta season and even in season if you ain't got a tag
