I gots me a new Hoopty
Been planning, scheming, thinking, figuring, for a while. Mama MADE me get her a Camper last year, and the 1/2 ton won't pull it well enough. Her Tahoe was on last legs (2001 model), so we sold it to our son. I waited on these to come out, and got one a couple of weeks ago.
2015 Chevy 3/4 ton 2500 LTZ Duramax Diesel. It will make coffee in 49 languages, tell you when a payment is due, connect your molars via Bluetooth, and play really loud music.
Too much truck. It's a BEAST! But........sorta sadly......at this age, it's probably my last truck........
Oddly enough, probably the first time I pull the camper will probably be at Crappie Camp. Wife's driving my 'old' pickup, and she can pull the boat!

Nice hoopty. I'd love one, but I refuse to finance anything until the house is paid for.

If it's your last one might as well make it a good one. Congrats

House'll be paid for before this is......another reason I pulled the trigger. Being old sucks, but it has SOME advantages! :)

That is sweet. I started out with my last truck just to pull the boat. Then we bought a camper and it was too small. So, we bought a truck just big enough to pull the camper. Then, we inherited a couple of kids and the camper was too small. So, we bought a bigger camper. Now, the truck I bought to cure all is too small again. Can I have yours when you die? DP

We see who the rich folks in Faulkner County are . lol

WERE, Nimrod, WERE!
I guess I am rich, to be honest. I have one wife, two trucks, a boat, a camper, a four wheeler, 12 fishing rods, and a safe full of........um.......no, I don't own any guns, sorry, I lost those, never mind.
DP, sure.........if A) you can beat all those kids of mine that have higher numbers than you do, and B) you weren't intending to insure that my demise occurs prematurely!

Nice Ride!!!!!!! Congrats!
