I thoughy the 360 was a seperate transducer device that lowered down when you are sitting still.
Looks like they make one for mounting on the trolling motor , just not sure if how it works
If it will mount on trolling motor it would mount to pole. It should work just the same. Trolling motor mount is for convenience, and better scanning in front of boat.
Yes it will, someone on here has one he made. Here is the link http://www.crappie.com/crappie/showt...?highlight=360
What kind of trolling motor do you have? Here's a link to the install guide. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ejkkdxckqh..._360_TM_IG.pdf
I think Rickie is working on adapting the 360 to his mount too.......might give him a shout and see where he is with it..
I have an I=Pilot I know it wont work on it.
The 360 will work mounted how ever a person wants.all it needs is to be in the water, without anything obstructing its view.its fully automatic, just choose the settings best for your fishing needs.turn it on and turn it loose(no flapping the trolling motor back an forth).even my transom mount 360 can be modified to work on the front of a boat.one example would be rickies, duducer thingy.
Heres pictures.i really like it [URL=http://s826.photobucket.com/user/kosmo012/media/Mobile%20Uploads/S01506_zpspxmusl8y.PNG.html]http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...pspxmusl8y.PNGhttp://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps680e7c53.jpg[/URLhttp://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps3833d5cd.png...http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps9b46f334.png........http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...psc65fe804.png
Kosmo what settings are you running for your 2d. The pics look awesome.
Im not sure, but let elaborate on the 360/2d,using the 998.i believe that the processor is being used to its max.it works and does give good detail.....also heres some more info on t h e 360.while in 360 mold, the unit only has to make an 180 to update not a 360 to update.while in quick mold, like the picture I posted the 360 can be made to update all the way down to lets say an 5° update.the user just chooses.the user also decides on the speed.one more thing, the 360 has an si/di mold to use.(the 360 is a crappie fishermans deam come true)
I have the Terrova and have the TM360 mounted on a pole. Haven't changed much from my original configuration. I accidentally ran into some low water on Pickwick a few weeks ago and the PVC gave like I thought, and thus the puck wasn't affected.
An ideal mount is forward of the trolling motor. mine is off to the side so I have to be conscious of the trolling motor depth or I will get a shadow at the 11:00 position on my screen. If it was mounted ahead of the trolling motor, I'd have my shadow behind me and could adjust the TM depth to anything I want.
To me, the SI/DI of the 360 isn't as good as my dedicated HDSI transducer.
Kosmo is right, this thing is a crappie fisherman's dream come true.
