Yes, yesterday was Vietnam Veterans Day and I would like to back up Cane poles post with a thanks for your service to our county post of my own here. May your service never be forgotten.

My dad was vietnam vet, when I left house to get on bus to join air force in 1979 he handed me a new wallet with a little cash gave me a hand shake and said "I hope you don't have to see the things I have"! He spent 3 tours over there and that was the one and only time in his life he ever said anything about vietnam around me. Thank the lord I didn't, took a few trips to the desert but was never in harms way.

i spent 2ours over there on a huey flying medivac.i wasnt the pilot just the crewchief..this picture sure brings back memories.dont anyone tell you you get over the flashbacks...it dosent happen...thanks to all the brothers left..i wonder everyday how many made it after we made it to the mash units
