The Visitor Center is opened weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and weekends from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (At least that is what the website says......)

Hope that's right, they cut the hours back.
It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, open W-Sunday. I'm pretty sure it closes at 4:30.
Surely they will give us an extra week or two to make up for the days lost in october.
I think it's 7:00 - 3:30 M-F.
atm is correct, they close at 3:30................was there yesterday.
She told me 8:00 to 4:30 but she didn't no about sunday and she also said close on Mon & Tue so I should be able to get a pass and hit the lake. Thank guys see you soon.
I always call the arkabutla field office and they send mine in the mail. Usually get it next day and its way easier than trying to stop and get one.

The one thing to be aware of concerning the mailed parking pass. She always sends it to me registered mail so you have to sign for it. This year it came on a Saturday so I was home, but other years I have had to make a trip to the post office.
