Is this a crappie or bass tournament? Lol. I used to place in bass tourneys with these weights!
Bird Down finished in third, congrats Jeremy!!!!!!
Congrats Jeremy, helluva catch.
3.84, wow!!
Nice--WTG BD
Geez what fish . Were they putting them in a tank for release or keeping them?
Release
Great job Bird!
I bet that 3.84 didn't get released lol
Just goes to show, Grenada is king of the hill for big crappie, BAR NONE!
Congrats Bird Down!
G , I hope it don't end up like Butla. Cause it's a bad feeling when your local lake is dead . Congrats Jeremy
lets wait till after camp for the rain
That That That :yikes
Man, dream fishing there
3.87
That's crazy awesome weights!!! I wander how long it will be before Grenada is known as home of the 4 lber?
I don't care what anybody says about ATM, he is good people. A while back I told him how well I sleep and to give me a wake up call before a tourney. Now, he text or calls most Saturday mornings and I am up. I was so tired yesterday I never set clock and when he called I was dead asleep. He saved me big time on this one. Thanks buddy.
Thanks everyone for the congrats. It's the biggest bunch of fish I have ever caught. Also, thanks crappie masters for letting my partner keep the fish. Seeing that we were two tenths from the all time record, they allowed him to keep the fish to mount. He is mounting all 7 on a stringer! Ha.
Congrats Jeremy. One helluva catch!!!!!!!
Congrats to all the winners, and especially the C.C and MCC guys!!!
It's dang sure the best for monsters. Always been my favorite Coe lake
Congrats Jeremy, glad you did so well! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!
ATM is a goodun.
has absolutely nothing to do with pressure on Grenada, no spawning grounds year after year is what hurt Nader. 2 years in a row of high water while the bass are spawning and it would turn around 180 degrees. Coarse that just my observation having lived on it for 30 years, cant speak for the others.
congrats birddown heck of a showing
I hope it stays good for everyone that fishes there, and congrats to those that did well in the tournament. Having fished for a long time, (I remember fishing in the early 60s with a plastic worm rigged TX style when no one else even fished with a worm), I just see the pressure ratcheting up even more than it already is, with every Tom, Dick and Harry within 1000 miles wanting to fish Grenada these days, looking for that 3 - 3.5 pounder to put on the wall and post on the internet. There must be a reason that MDWFP set the creel limit at the Big 4 to 20 rather than 30, could it be from all the pressure? Sardis used to be "the" place to bass fish, then word got out and it was traffic jam from Memphis and Jackson to get there. Nowadays, I expect you'd be hard pressed to catch a decent mess of bass on Sardis. I don't really have a dog in the hunt as I don't fish northwest MS anymore, just my uneducated opinion.
