When I seen that you posted,I thought for sure it was crankbaits. You let me down. Nice catch though.
Sweet!
Great catch any particular part of the lake?
Where you casting the crankbaits towards shore to catch them? We know that your the crank bait king. Congrats.
sure wanting to try them lol
Nice mess
Did you have Jamie fishing with you or is he down in Mississippi?
he is in ms. we are going a week from today
Nice haul of blacks.
It was a fantastic day today. I rarely caught a fish under 12". The biggest was just shy of 14 1/2. Started out shooting docks, but found more on the outside shaded areas.
Dang man.......good work! Fun when you get into them like that. Very nice batch of fish.
My son and I had the same kind of day. The biggest two limits of Crappie we ever caught. We put in at Larry Gale a little after 2 went toward Bridal Cave and second dock we hit was full of BIG fish. Caught most of ours in a shaded well and several shooting also. Bobby Garland Blue Ice Baby Shad worked great for us. My son really didn't wanna go but was glad he did afterward.LOL!!!!
Nice pile of fish :highfive
Are they shallow under the docks or shallow as in up on the bank?? What was the water temp?
They were not very deep. I'd say the strike happened in the 2-4' range. Temps were ranging from 46-48. I was shooting and catching a few, my wife was just casting around next to the docks where ever there was dense shade. I wound up sticking were her pattern. Color also didn't seem to matter. I was using red/chart BG baby shad. She was using the BG Moonglo blk/chart.
We ended with 3 limits but had to really get through the small fish this weekend. Last weekend we couldn't catch a fish under 10". I was up in the gravois arm both weekends.
