Spring break on Truman

My son was home from college for the week so made our first trip to Truman in.......too long. Fished Wednesday pm through today pm........never got a break from the wind. Wish I could say we found'em in bunches..........but only found a fish here and a fish there. Had best luck on hedge trees in 16-18 fow..........stayed between Cedar and the flats above Jackson. Best color was blue/white and pink/chartreuse. The ones we did find were nice size......all went back so they could lay their eggs.

Thanks all.........it was an awfully fun trip. Between school and work, junior and I don't get out as much as we'd like so every time on the water is special. We've spent the past couple of years re landscaping the whole house, man has it eaten into our fishing time........hope to change that this year and get out more.
