then there's one color we have slayed them with at Jackson the last couple trips, it's an almost solid blue jig with heavy gold flake. Also a Southern Pro but not sure the name...

AWD baits, I dont have a favorite color, 'cause that changes a lot
I aways like to have some pink in my baits somewhere. I pull the hair jigs I make, and my favorite patterns are Acid rain or Electric Chicken for Lake Talquin and Blackshear with a Pink or Chartruse head. This time a year I'll use Pink/Pink/Pink also.
Dutch, you can order AWD baits from The Crappie Shop online. They are in Gray, Ga. PM me and I will give you Steve Deasons number.
I aint prejudice...I pull em all till I find out what's working!!!
What's pullin....I push em...:biggrin
If I were a Farmer, I would use nothing but John Deere Green. It will get bites when all the other colors fail.
If I had to pick on color to take, it would be Bubblegum.
If I was only allowed to use one jig, I'd have to pick a Christmas Tree Hal-Fly, I feel like it will catch Crappie pretty much anywhere
:hesaid
I always say "Bubblegum get you some"
If I had to go out with one color it would be the acid rain triple tail grub on a chartreuse lightwire tri head jig. It has worked for me over and over again
Dont forget sliders. Mixed with hot grubs theyre killer too.
Yeap, pretty much what everyone else said. I get all the colors that I can find of both Southern Pro and Sliders. Academy has them on sale sometimes.
