Looking for a depth finder mount to get it up off the floor. Looking for something 16" tall. I know Hi-Tek has a 12" and have sent him a message about a 16" but haven't heard back yet. Who else offers an elevated mount?

Here is a DIY mount I crafted for mine using simple hand tools. It is completely adjustable and I have had zero problem with it since I made it last year.

Try cumberland rod holders terry sell them and will have the size you need.
I just used the stock 18in. Hi-tec riser to mount mine just the right height for me.

Last year when I picked up a small 12' V-hull, I put my sonar on the gunnel with a bracket purchased from Cabelas:

This has worked out very well for me and is easily transferable to other tin boats. Here's what it looks like off the boat:

Ram mounts come in all sorts of shapes an sizes. Just purchased one myself.
Some great ideas. I'm also looking to custom mount mine.

Those things are pretty pricey
Everything seems pricey to me, :biggrin ,but they looked like they were built pretty well.
Nothing worse than putting 2000 dollars worth of graph on a flimsy mount and then watch it fall over. :twocents
I like the looks of the ones Justinp61 made too.
I decided to build my own too. Figured I might as well. It fits in with my homemade rod holder and trolling motor stabilizer ( more like a kick stand/stow&deploy handle ).

Lookin Good. Nice job, and look at the money you saved.
I would have HiTech make one.
If that wasn't for you, Ram Mount make a base that a aluminum riser pipe screws into and you put a Ram ball on top. That is what I have up front. I actually have SS pipe with this as the top.

Can make it any height. Not sure exactly how you asked but I did respond to the same question someone asked last week through the website. I copied and pasted the email address but it may have not been correct? Sorry.
Callshy, I sent a pm from this forum. Maybe I should have emailed from your site. No reason to appoligize. I hope no one takes my first post the wrong way.
Just to be clear. I wasn't bashing or trying to put Hi-tek down in any way. I was just letting everyone know that I had already known about Hi-tek and tried to get in touch.
I'm sorry. I should have been more clear.
