My new Yak got it today I'm looking forward to fishing some of the small lakes in the area. Any suggestions feel free to throw them my way.

Nice good luck
I'll PM you when I start back fishing. I have a few places that are kayak friendly. You picky about what you catch?
Nope and thanks
Look up the nckfa. Good people and they do it all when it comes to yaks.
looks like it would be fun in a pond or small lake, happy fishing, have not been lately, hurt my back and now have caught a cold, just in time for spring fishing
Id like to find me a decent kayak to do the same. I know several ponds that are full of brim but can only get to them on a kayak.
I have fished Second Creek on High Rock to the main channel , Riles Creek on Tuckertown to the main channel and sections of the Yadkin River without incident.
I did get a funny look from 2 bass fisherman beside me on Second Creek. They were on the front of their bass boat fishing and I told them to hang on I was going to crank up and didn't want my wake to throw them out of the boat. I thought they were going to fall out from laughing.
I would find some calmer water till you know how YOU and the kayak are going to act. Most fishing yaks are stable, you just don't know it at first.
Nice kayak! Is that one a foot pedal model?
