Fished Wapp Saturday morning with Tall Timber. The day started out beautiful. Fog so thick you could cut it with a chainsaw.
Pushed minnows and jigs along flats next to secondary creek channels. The bite was real light. Missed several. Brought home a dozen good eaters. Probably threw back 3 time that many dinks.
It was sure good to fish with my ole bud again. Let's do it again soon Brad.

We caught these on Saturday

Are they being caught pretty consistently in Wappapello right now? Almost always make the the two hour drive from Bluff to Reelfoot but havent been having a lot of luck here recently. I would much rather drive 30 minutes for simliar results. Any info is appreciated.

Bowhunter... I can only speak for myself, this is the first trip id bn on this yr... but all the other reports are yeah they're catching them

We found our fish drifting a flat that was 2.5-3.5' deep using black/char jigs and minnows
