a little food for thought
I been hitting the ole fishing hole last few weeks and doing well, visiting with folks, seeing some ole buds I met on the dotcom. Almost everyone got along well, had a story or two to tell, a joke or just picked on me some,,most everyone, there was a boat or two who always seemed to complain. And that got me to thinking back when I was a kid 8 or 10 years old I would ride my bike to the old fishing ole and sit till most nearly dark, catching bull head or pearch, Granny would always say thank you Mikey they shore will fry up nice. always made me smile. Till one day I ride up to my spot, yes I thought it was My Spot and there sat ole Duggan Taylor, a local man I see around the town a lot, he was just sitting there in my spot, well I got pretty mad and headed right straight home to find my dad and get this man out of my spot, folks my dad told me, put the bike in the trunk and let's go see what the deal is. Got to the spot and me and Harold went straight to ole Duggan, boy is he gonna get a talkin to........ well folks My dad said Michael this here is Duggan Taylor, Yea I know him. and he is a good fisherman, he goes all the time. bet he can teach you a thing or two bout them bull heads, maybe don't get mad, just figure you got a new fishing buddy and y'all can have fun times fishing the ole creek. to this day I never complain about someone fishing close to me............
