Feels great to be a dad
My son's two year birthday was monday so we took him to the zoo and had time afterwards to try to catch his first fish so went to Russel to see what we could do , thank god he answered my prayer and he caught the only oneAttachment 154199 then I had the pleasure of taking him on our first father son outing before I headed to work the next day and we only caught two but it was one a piece so wouldn't have it another way.Attachment 154200

That's great and a special memory you'll always have as a father. Keep up the good work!

Don't get any better than that

Congrats. You are raising him right and he looks like a natural.

What a priceless memory. Pictures are worth a 1,000 words and none could describe your pride. Thanks for sharing. Watch out, in a few years, he will beat your b&*(. Rightfully so.

Congrats on having your first father son outing and hope you are rewarded with many more as the young man grows up

I loved this post! My "baby boys" are 23 and 21...but those photos brought back so many precious memories...You keep doing what you are doing, and you'll have a fishing buddy for life! (Or until he discovers girls, like mine did....LOL!!!)

I have one that's 9 and 3. My 9 year old is fishing in a pond now behind our subdivision with some of his buddies and he loves it. The first time I took my 3 year old last year he loves it too but he wants to be like his brother and daddy. So he wanted to through the rod like us. When I turned around I wasn't paying attention and he hooked me in the back, not only did he do that he keep on jerking the rod digging the 2" road runner in my back. I was afraid to yell because I thought I would scare him. After about 20 seconds of this my wife realized what was going on and she took the rod away. He started crying after comforting him 5 min later she cut the line I retied another jig for him put him in the front of the boat and then my wife cut the road runner out of my back 10 min later. Two hours went by and he caught his first fish. After all said and done it was worth it. I love my little men. That was my first outing with both boys and will never forget it.
