You can take the man out of the truck but you cant take him out of the truckstop. Now i know why freight was always late when you were pulling it.

spindle that looks so good I had to turn it!
Is that all you ol' Geezers have to do? Take pictures and eat until ya blow button off yer britches...Hahaha. I have eaten there and they give you way too much food.
The reason I asked was I didn't know if they had closed that one down. When I worked on the west side of Memphis used to run over there for lunch once in a while. So many truck stops have changed over to fast food now. That one always had good food. Their buffet was about as good as I ever had anywhere.
Man, that looks good.
It looked good sideways. It looked good right side up. Just had to see if it looked good upside down...

Yep, still looking good.
I ate a many of those back when I was driving. Never saw one I couldn't finish. At one time the iron skillet had seafood on friday nights. When you poured a spoon of shrimo on those aluminum plates it sounded like you dropped a handful of marbles on the plate. But the cf steak was always good.
