Plan on making a haul over next weekend to try the lake out for the 1st time. Any advice on best color combos for long lining and spider rigging will be appreciated. Will have minnows on hand also.

Minnows and minner critters been working pretty good! !!!!
So have minners and Crappielogic GNATS! Mike has them at bait-n-thangs bait shop at lake Washington.

Don't whack em too much waxnslabs. You don't want to be banned from going back to sippi all together. Lol. Good luck to ya. I'm stuck with some home waters for a while and maybe taking a trip to Nader at the end of the month.
Stop at Roy's Store and get you some orange and chartreuse Minner Critters! Tip you a minner on them and get ready to whack and stack!
Bait & Thangs has the biggest selection of Crappie Logic products that I have ever seen.
orange and char and red and char have been working well on Washington good luck to you sir
Thanks for the advice guys! Goodluck to everyone this weekend.

I'm new to the GNATS so I may be about to ask a stupid question, but how are you guys rigging it? Reason I ask is it doesn't appear to have much weight to it. I"m used to fishing 1/4 and 3/8 oz heads when spider rigging.
Most fish them on a 2 hook C&C rig with weight in middle. You could if pushing a jig go up a ft or so and tie in a loop knot and put one on and tip it with a minnow.
You can't beat those Gnats Donnie makes. Never seen anything that compares to their quality and fish catching and I've tried everything. Hands down the best out there.
Makes sense, thanks I'll give em a try
Trying to order but website won't load
Just PM Donnie. He can handle it that way I'm sure
Personally, I like the gnat about 18 inches above the jig, loaded with a minner and let it 'free swim'. Prolly why I ain't among the 'big catchers' but that's the way I use them. Any better suggestions, I'm all ears.
That ought to work too. Ill give it a shot next trip.
depends on how deep the water is I'm fishing and IF I know how deep they are on how far apart I put things. If it's 10 FOW or deeper and I have no idea how deep to fish, I put them 18 inches apart. If it's 4-8 FOW, I run them less than a foot apart.
Talked to Donnie yesterday and Mike from Bait n Thangs. Top notch men. They got me a shipment on the way. Thanks for the input on everything guys!

It's 53 degrees today on the lake. Going to get warmer next few days
Water I saw was 50-52 yesterday and bite was slow up shallow. The bass tourney guys are starting to catch more in the trees I think there winning weight was up around 17lbs
Hey delta at least ya got to fish I had the 4 letter hard word, work lol.
