Since nobody else is gonna post (and I know there was more than me and Popsicle on darbonne today from this site) I guess I will. It started with us trying to get there early and at 6:05 am the parking lot at jakes was full and the line was out to the highway. We turned around and went to the peninsula ramp a cross the way. Caught 89 today and kept 68. Had some real thumpers in the bunch. Attachment 152772Attachment 152773

I was there caught 26. I launched a five o clock and had to wait in line. I fished forks ferry back towards jakes.

Yep it was a little crowded to say the least! I've never fished around that many boats before. We ended up with 35 slabs & threw 20 or so back.

"Have boat will travel" is our moto 20watt! Our local lakes are still dead plus D'arbone & PP are too good of crappie lake to pass up! If it's within 2hr drive from my house & the fish are biting you will see me until the MS river gets right.Quote:

Out of all the boats at hwy 33 bridge I never seen that one. I'll keep you in mind & make a point to talk to you if I see you. I'll be in the white stratos with red strips & Creekslicks red rod rack on the side & a 150 Evinrude HO on the boat. I'll be at PP soon!

While up in Bossier City We did go to the casino. While in line to eat we met a very nice guy and his wife, they are from Monroe. They were telling us how the went to poverty point the day before and scratched. BT, I pulled out my phone and show them your picture and the picture of your pile of fish. Of course they wanted to know where and so I told them. He and his wife looked at each other and at the same time said D'Arbonne, we're heading there tomorrow. I then showed them "arkdrakehunter's" picture of under the bridge and their eyes nearly popped out of their heads. Then before we could continue our conversation we were zipped off to tables in different directions.
