Caught about a dozen that were just under or just over a pound. Started close to lunch time wish I had got my rear end out of the bed this morning, however this brokeneck sow was in about 3 ft of water late in the afternoon and made my trip. I will longline next time, good job Doug,Jody, Earl and Dmick. Nice meeting you today Dmick!

This fish is 2lb 0oz, would post the pic of the 2lb 1oz it is alot better but it would give the honey hole away. A selfie pic does not turn out as good as those taken by someone else while you hold it which the 2.1 was. Still in the learning stage of photographing fish. Anyways enjoy!

This is a pic of my 16 on Sat spider rigging combined with mine and Deputy Dog's other 15 we caught long lining on Sunday that went with the 29 that day from the pic posted previously, minus one however just got through cleaning and the neighbors dog named old Blue hauled boogie with a 1.4 when I dumped them on the concrete to start cleaning. That rascal keeps that up he will live up to his name.

They up Richland now Jiggy!! Just got off phone with a guy. Said he caught 11 of the biggest fish in Sandy creek that he has ever caught on Oconee. He's been guiding up there for 20 years. He said 11 filled up a 5 gallon bucket!! Giving me the Richland itch!!! Very nice fish Country!! Where you up on the front of your boat, swinging your arms around, hoisting a sail!!!???:biggrin
Oooh tha Hill!! Oconee is the lake I learned on, but the Hill has been good to me. I should ride up there when I get back off the truck late march.

Slow go today, the past few cold days may have toned them down a bit. Oconee dozen, lost a monster 2.4 class fish from frayed line, bummer bigtime, however did manage to get the 2lb 0oz fish, alot of short bites. It is ready to get good with a few more warmer days they should eat it up!
We caught 32 nice fish today. Waiting to hear on Earl the Pearl and Cuz the Fuzz. They were sneak trolling around down there, and I betcha they lowered the lake level. JigSlinger was being sneaky too. Attachment 153539Attachment 153540Attachment 153541

Im jealous. We fished the morning in some usual haunts and cldnt get a bite! I had to come home early and suspected the evening after the water warmed some was the time and i just missed it
Fished Richland Saturday and didn't catch alot but the one's I caught were bigun's.I talked to alot of people yesterday that fished up and down the richland arm and one boat had 11 and all the others had less than that.I think Doug caught more fish than any of the other 100 boats that were on the lake.I stayed in touch with 4 other boats on the lake fishing different areas and they reported the same thing.
Striperking...I really thought everyone killed them yesterday AND I was honestly scared to hear how well everyone would do in Richland, and I wasn't going over there. Now, I think the rain really did mess them up. When we started off the water temp was 50 and 47 up at the Redlands. That kinda tells you how the rain chilled the water again. But this week....WOW, ,,,,,, donkey kong, ping pong, slings long, Its gonna be on like......
