Got to have my Louisiana fix.....I even cooked red beans , smoked sausage, and rice today

It was so good I might eat the rest of it tomorrow.....my stomach don't know what day it is lol

I have been meeting a LOT of people at events that tell me they visit reguarly but arent members yet,...I welcome each of them to come join on up! Can you imagine how much bigger the LA member base would be if they did... Might take a pic tomorrow....forgot to tonight....It was superb tho....I did use the mix that was in my goody bag.....and naturally I added a little more to it and I used Conukuh smoked sausage.
Did not know about the Monday meal. I'm cooking red beans tomorrow and don't get in the way when they ready. You might get bit!!
Since Im from north la I may not know the correct day to eat stuff. I like red beans and rice just about anytime. Is that like every Monday or just supposed to eat them every now and again but always on Monday?
In South La. red beans and rice with sausage is a Monday meal at many eating places.

Knew that Friday is Fish day, Sunday was Gospel Bird [ Chicken ] Day. But I didn't know Monday was Bean day. Wednesday might be Bollonie [Bologna] or clean out the frig soup. Sometimes I think all the other days become Take me out to eat, I am tired of cooking days
FoL that was funny. Almost snorted some coffee. Sundays was pot roast day as a kid, then when I could pick it became spaghetti and meatball day. But hamburgers were for Tuesday, just ask wimpy. He will pay you later.

Come on JR, why you gotta go injecting good sense in this post. :Rofl All I know is my red beans are ready to eat and I baked some chicken parts too. Tried something different , sprinkled a little chili powder on the chicken. Now if Mae would get back from the hair dresser, we will eat. I will post the results on the chicken. Already know the beans will be good!!
