The dog snagged one of your pieces of toast and you ran out of jelly.
You're out of that fine jelly :) We're glad you enjoyed it.
two problems.....
one, of course is that you are out of that awesome jelly....
two, that "butter" should be "peanut butter"....(unless you are allergic to peanut butter)
don't get me wrong....I love grits with my butter.....
What a gewber....supposed to use peanut butter
Great Jelly too....I got the MayHaw and it was great!
None for next time
The problem isn't the size of the bread. That's a big slice. By the way, Smuckers has a flavor I recently discovered and I'm hooked. Blackberry/Strawberry mixed. Yum Yum.
Aint no top on that sammich.....
Would it be that you did not "toast" the bread so it would melt the butter
It really is good Randy. But I won't turn down homemade. Unfortunately we did not get any figs this year. Don't know what's going on , no pecans either. But I have enough to make you a pie next month.;)
YUM! Some of you folks have no idea how this man makes a serious pecan pie :)
hey slab.......WTH.......and is a prize involved?
You bunch of gubers. The problem is the jar is empty.
Blackberry jelly?............did someone really say blackberry jelly? Raaaaaaandy! Over here man, over here! Ummmmmm, better than bacon, bacon, bacon. Oh, forgot to say...,
somebody is out of jelly.
You are lonesome for Louisiana.
"gene''
You're suppose to toast the bread before you spread the butter and then jelly. ;)
The last thing put on the bread is jelly, but there's butter on the knife.
What butter ???? slab used Ice Cream or Frozen Yougart..... The second thing is that is a wide mouth jar the Jelly was in and the top on the table is a small mouth jar lid.. ___ Slab,,, Did you have to use a chainsaw on the Log of bread ????
Oh yes the jelly wad 100 years old
Where's the crappie?
I bet a crispy filet on that would be awesome...........
What do you mean empty jar??? My MIL, who is now deceased could have gotten at least one if not two more slices jellied with that jar. She would take one of those rubber spatulas and when she got through, the jar looked like it just came out of the dishwasher. One of our fine memories of the lady and the wife and I joke about it from time to time when the jelly runs low. She use to can jelly and kept us supplied in our early married years.
Come on slab ---- tell us ---- Did anyone spy the items in the Photo????
I take it you liked the jelly Ed?! And no, it was not 100 years old, it was made the end of 2013. And it is NOT a wide mouth jar, I never did care to use those. I do agree my mom could have got a little more out of it too! Thanks for the picture, looks like it was very much enjoyed!
:ThumbsUp
FoL, I think that is great value(walmart) margarine, not ice cream or yogurt.
Put the box in the mail today Joe, was waiting to find a suitable box for shipping. Enjoy my friend! While at the post office I saw the newly released Jimi Hendrix stamps. I am not into stamp collecting, but had to have some of those. The local postmaster told me the same thing, had to have those as well.
Meanwhile, been having a problem with the newspaper delivery - not showing up all this week. I have been calling everyday, then decided to call the corporate office- Gannet News Service. I have been on them regular. They said for rural delivery it is difficult to find carriers who will deliver, but they reminded me that I have an automatic subscription emailed everyday to view online. I told them I could care less about the online version, just wanted the printed copy. There are probably very few of us now a days that get the paper everyday. Had a problem a few years ago when they would throw the paper on the driveway or on the road. I had to remind them that I wanted it in the special tube that they had installed next to my mailbox. Remember guys, my driveway is 1/2 mile long to the road from the house. Oh well, sorry about the rant fellas.
Now that's funny, a conservative who has to have his paper, while listening to Jimi. :Rofl
I see a few things wrong....Jar is empty, lid appears to fit different sized jar, jelly last thing on toast, but butter remains on knife, ran out of jelly before completely covering toast, and lastly, it's still sitting on the table and not on it's way to your stomach yet......
New season for berries about to be on us. Now you can refill the jar.:highfive
The paper showed up today nicely wrapped in the newspaper tube - the neighbors didn't get theirs :)
