Did anyone have any lucky fishing lake barkley or kentucky lake this weekend?
For me the bite was terrible. I found fish but nothing seemed to fit their appetite.

That's exactly the way it was for me.
I hope it gets better after the warmer weather this week.
I think all the lakes are slow for now but hopefully these 60 degree days will perk them up a bit. At least my home lake (reel foot) is finally thawing out, gonna give it a whirl wednesday...

Will do Slab, hope it better tomorrow at the lake. I went to a honey hole today off the big muddy to do a lil jig fishin. Should of stayed home windy and no crappie only managed a couple white bass.

Is the water still muddy? I wonder if the shad kills have a large part to do with this.
Fished yesterday in Big Sandy and caught about 25 fish. 7 of those were keepers. Caught fish in 12 fow right on the bottom. Water is still pretty muddy.
Water was a little dingy but no where near muddy. dont know really whats goin on , talked to a couple more guys that fished wed. and didnt even get a bite. Unless they are full from eating the shad that were killed you would think they would be out lookin for food. I know the gulls were catching alot of fish:dono
Looks like the lake jumped up a couple more degrees today. Hopefully that trend will continue into the weekend. At some point they have turn on. Hopefully it will happen this weekend!
According to someone on another thread a few did catch fish on wed. just not where I was fishing. I was planning on going back in the morning but the wind will keep me at home dont care to fight a 15 mph sw wind. I'm sure there will be some diehards out there so maybe someone will have a positive report.
I'm going to give it a go tomorrow. Hopefully I have a good report.

Got on some fish in 8-14 ft of water. Numbers weren't great but it was a nice day out on the lake.
