Don't worry guys, you didn't miss a thing, wind kicked up to about 15-20 around 9:30, never had a bite, nor did the other 4 boats I talked to, plenty of open water though, Champy's pocket is wide open, keystone area is too, but the ramps there isn't, lots of open water on the other side too.
was the water open around green island point?
Don't think so, but you could go a long way towards it on the east bank, I didn't go far that direction, was looking for open shallow water.

Few more days and it should all be open, rain tomorrow and low to mid 60's tuesday' wednesday
At least you was on the water, rain tomorrow and 60's after that should open her up and warmer temps should just start them a lil. I hope to go tues or wed temps in the low 60's with 5 to 8 se winds.
