9" flex Bubba Blade, going to take a little practice
looks lethal
are they as good as they claim to be ?
Pretty sharp Greg, I've only cleaned about 35 with it so far, but it still has its edge
Keep us informed how it holds up.
I have a 9 inch stiff blade and I love it. Had it for about a year. I do struggle filleting the skin off tho.
Yeah I have trouble getting the filet off the skin also, I usually scale them and leave skin on
handle looks real comfortable too
So I take it the blade is stiff? Never seen one of these.
RCC, I leave the skin on quite a few of mine. It helps them hold together better when they are on the grill in my opinion and besides that, I like the skin.
I tried the 9 inch blade but had trouble with it. I think the 9 inch thinner blade may work better for me. I love my old rapala knifes though. I have small hands and the big blade would make them cramp after cleaning several fish.
They make a 9" stiff and 9" flex. I have the flex. So far have cleaned around 70, still having trouble getting the filet off the skin but I think it is just me and not the knife
My neighbor has one of these that I tried out a few times. They are too stiff for my preference on crappie. They probably work great on larger fish though.
im gonna have to stick with my electric
