Glad I saved my money!!!! I stopped by last night and got in free. It's a joke!!! They wanted me to pony up 3500 for some space, and I told em I wanted to see how it went the first year. WhoooHooooo. I got 3500 extra to blow on fishin tackle!!!!! :-)
The Memphis Boat Show starts next Friday afternoon thru Sunday!!! Hope to see y'all there, Except you FJ fishermen who'll be at Washington. Maybe y'all can come out Sunday. Call me for a pass.
Ain't got but 4 boat dealers, 1 tackle stand and a trout pond or something. Might be selling some floating thingamajig in the water pool instead of trout. Tackle guy wasn't even set up at 7:30 last night. One of my boat dealer friends from Pickwick said they only sold 30 tickets at the door all day yesterday. My friends are selling the 100k ski boats there.Quote:

Used to go all the time to sports shows. Now I can't see paying 9 bucks to go look at 60000 dollar boats. Back in the day I would buy a lure or 20 but now see few deals there. Dont remember that, dime cokes for me, man that old coke box could get them things cold, bag a peanuts over in it sho was good too, still do that all along but just aint the same.
Getting an occasional coke from the country store was big stuff for us in the 60's. John you are right, them little bottles were cold and burned my nose.
