On my boat today when I picked it up . They made the mistake of installing it accidentally . So they gave it to me free.... I had went and looked at the boat and didn't pay any attention to it. Oh well.

Hey Bamma, if it don't have one get you a water pressure gauge installed. You get to playing with that plate and can run out of water in a hurry.

It tells you how much water pressure you have going through the motor to keep it cool. You get that plate to high and trim it out you will start losing water pressure. Let's say with motor down sitting still and start moving forward and it's running 14 PSI, you get on plane and trim it out and up you don't want to get below 10 PSI or you can burn motor up. You start losing to much water pressure your starting to suck air into the water intake ports in the foot of your motor.
