Thinking about sneaking across the big river and trying to catch a mess of slabs to eat. Have heard a lot of talk about Sardis but what about Grenada?

Water is very low at both of them right now
Not yet....maybe never...Hehe.
Ain't heard much lately.
Gonna be a minute after all this rain.
I rode to the ramp this afternoon, and I think the lake has risen two feet since Monday. Wont take long like that. Supposed to get up to another inch tonight (maybe more locally). If they don't open the spillway, the lake is gonna jump tomorrow!!!
Tallahatchie is rolling out of the banks. Bet it jumps up 4 more feet.
Be jigging soon. I got numbers on 80 beds Saturday the lake was right at them. There is water in there now.
Do not worry about me catching too many. I am very much a novice but I like to go different places to fish and camp. A lot easier to do that now since I am retired.
Camp at either lake during spring
After this rain I have a feeling either lake will send ya home with your tail tucked. Fun just going and learning the lay of the lake tho. Camp grounds will be fairly vacant except for the resident snow birds!!! :-)
Gonna wait a bit for weather to warm and water to settle. But will be eager to try either.
End of march first of April is a good time.
Oh yes almost forgot the trollers invasion. Coming to the lakes soon. Last year looked crazy at engineers ramp. It's almost as much fun catching fish as it is watching gookins load and unload boats. Don't forget spawn 1 guy catch a crappie 50 boats are watching same guy catches 2 fish he has a guy netting his next fish for him it gets crazy. Gotta love it.
