Looking to put trolling rod storage racks on my boat, who has the best ones for the best price?
I made mine.
Creekslick
E-Z Poleholder makes a nice set. Also CreekSlick. Just depends which style you like best. Both build quality product and are board sponsors.
I like the ole drift master racks (low profile) but the others are a lot nicer.
I use Cumberland really like them but Creek makes a very good one also
Does Creekslick have a website?
Here's a pic of the rack I got from EZ. the ones he's making now are all aluminum.

check pm rees
pm creek on here!!
I got one from Cabelas that I put in my rear seat mount that holds 10 rods vertically. Seems to work good so far, and I can take it out when I have a partner that fishes from the back deck.(usually a couple times a year at Lake of the Ozarks)
Drawback is you can't go down the road with it, you have to break em down when you leave the lake
Can you shoot me a pic and a price?

These are the ones Creekslick makes.
Creek slick. Second season. Very heavy duty. Solid as a tree. I leave my poles on when Iam going down the highway. You need different tie downs that are shown by BRM poles will walk out. Need one tie down per set on each end. Won't go anywhere rough waters or speed bump.
I use the Fishing Butlers to hold my rods in place. I travel everywhere with my rods in that rack. PM me if ya need a set.
I just got my racks from creek in yesterday. Hope to get them put on tomorrow.
What do guys with fish and ski boats use for racks? I have a 97 ranger 397xt and can't figure how to set this beast up for crappie fishin,,,any suggestions.?
How do you get in and out of the boat? If your only using 4 rods aren't the other 4 in the way? They just don't seem practical to me.
The console is on the other side
Can you not get in in front or behind console? I go over the bow to get in mine all the time.....fixing to make me some steps on the trailer tongue to make it easier.
Those are nice but I didn't like the wall of rods blocking my view. I prefer them laying horizontal , making it better if you decide to pole fish over them.
That's why I like and still have and use....E-Z's first style Attachment 151070
Yep I like those, they are similar to what I've been building.
I do love the racks that EZ and some others make, but as much as you travel you may want to think about getting a Rod Locker from Driftmaster. That way you have a rack for transport and your pools are locked and secure. If they will still your pools out of your boat in broad daylight while you are 50 yrds away buying minows at the local bait shop, (Tommie's), then it would be worth the extra money.
Hello: Check out the fishing rod retainer at the Fishing Rod Retainer website. Good Luck this season. O - R
I built some horizontal holders for my new boat. They have a locking system to keep people from walking up and carrying off your stuff. It starts on page 8 and goes through page 10 and shows the complete build with the locks.

Creekslick made these for me. Well built and not too high to fish over.
