Got there at 645am brought home 17 and Slabs limit, half done cleaning, tails all beat up, will look at roe on the couple of females. Have taken a couple of pics but haven't moved to pc yet(nap first).--shu

Slab caught TWO, a nice bass(A tussle on a 14' pole) and a nice speck. All the specks he catches are nice ones. Now to load the boat.--shu

I waited to go out till the rain died. I also did not go very far out onto the lake knowing it was likely gonna start raining again. I'd melt.
Darn, if I knew you were gonna be out there, I woulda grabbed rain gear and motored out. I tried Shu and got no answer. Figured maybe the rain scared him off.

grandkids showed up thursday(=heat) but rain and cold did too, so no fishing fri, sat,or sunday. Fried fish thursday evening, who would think three kids could put away a quart freezer bag of filets?? only 5 small pieces left for a sandwich friday. Went this afternoon and caught six keepers, three are 12" rest are over 10" so got my bag back. Have 1/4# of large minnows, all poles set to go, battery on charge, alarm set to 5:30.--goodnight--shu
