Anyone ever sends something like this to my home and I will hunt them down. And if they think being the neighbor is a b**ch then try being the parent.

sadly the letter writers parents were pro life; Hell is waiting
GOOD point!
Sadly my son comes home from school about half the week, in tears, sad, or depressed because of the cruelty at school. It's rampant!--Even the teachers. Unlike the obvious Downs kid, or the kid in a wheelchair autistics can't be picked from a crowd. When they have their moments it's assumed he's bad, or the product of bad parenting. OMG the looks we get just going to the store...
My sisters have special needs kids, especially my oldest sister. Her grandkids are special needs. The grand kids are in worse shape than the parents. Any way, you probably know how I feel about procreation. And Pap, people who have thoughts of the letter writer, Hell is their next life.
Very sad, hopefully the community will show their support for the child.
Wow, those people are in a gene pool that needs draining.
I worked with a fellow that could tell jokes all day and never tell the same one twice. One day he made the mistake of telling a handicap joke. I never cared to listen to him again. My first wife was 80% deaf and our daughter is 50-60% deaf and when you down handicap people or make fun of them then you get on my bad side real quick. The person with the handicap never ask for it and has done nothing to be treated as a second class person. I do hope the legal people decide there is a crime and that the writer of this letter pays a heavy price. Lets see about six months service with the handicap, a heavy fine and oh yhea about a yr in jail.
Then perhaps a few yrs on probation. Am I ticked. Not yet but give me a little time to think about it. :twocents
Being the father of a 10 year old autistic son, that letter makes me sick. I wonder how the so called mom that wrote that would feel if one of her own children had autism? These kids didn't ask to be born with this and I can tell you the parent's didn't ask for it either. Something simple like taking your child fishing is almost impossible for some of us to do. I hope they find out who "mom" is and she gets what she deserves.
Cool your jets, Pox ... I DID NOT edit out anything in your first post !! I simply capitalized the letter H (so that it denotes a "place" and not simply a curse word). I did, however, edit out the "personal" remark towards me, in this particular post, before any other moderators got wind of it.
... cp :kewl
Never have I heard any of my nieces or nephews complain about what the government is not doing for them. However, one nephew that lives in a group home works about thirty hours a week. He has more character and integrity than some of the whiners on this board.
Yeah, the writer needs their butt kicked.
OMG.. fishing with my little one and his brother.. nope. Doesn't happen. It's just a wide awake nightmare at best. If I get him out by himself he's much different, totally focused and dedicated. But that's the nature of autism. It's first and primary disorder is social. Mine won't even look his grandparents in the eye, he's horribly shy with them. Then there's the frustration of seeing and hearing the world differently from everyone else. AND.. we found out recently he's color blind too! So many arguments, and stress, all over trivial things we can't control, understand, or grasp.
An example: He started designing a new Pinewood Derby car for next year. His perception only allows a 3D view. He put the line on the block, I could see it plain as day, but when I ran a pencil point down the line (not touching it) to confirm it, he had a meltdown, claimed I can't see his picture(as he sees it), then ran off crying and hid. This is his/my every-day-in-life. It's frustrating for them because in reality they're all carrying a stroke of genius we don't get and it's impossible for them to articulate it.
My grandson is not only autistic but ADHD and has crippling injuries received from a 'friend' of his father (daughters X) when he was 2 years old. To control the brain swelling the doctors put him in a medical induced coma for 6 weeks. Has no use of his left arm or hand and walks with a very noticeable limp, almost dragging it. With all of his injuries and trials, this now 19 year old MAN has brought so much joy and happiness to our family. His love for people, ALL people sets a good example for the rest of us to follow. We are so blessed to have him in our lives.
Side note: the ******* that did this to my grandson never made it out of prison and I feel bad.....yes I do. I feel bad the *** made it to prison because 2 minutes in a locked room with me and I would be the one going to Hell. Clean it up if you want to CP...just saying
Not to make light of the subject, but this is a prime example of why I don't live next to Pox. I'm ascared he'd rub off on me.
Dood's got some kind of pox that I ain't immune to.
I think the author of that letter should be outed in public and subject to what the public does to them. What a cowardly, uneducated, disrespectfull, uneducated twit.
Bobo
