To echo MacDaddy's post earlier about Lake Erling, that same weekend a buddy and I kept 28 over 2 days (1/24 and 1/25). The biggest was measured at 13.5 in, and the rest were very comparable, but they all felt good pulling on the line! Been fishing with Mac before, extremely nice guy. If he offers to take you, take advantage of it.

I fish down there a couple times a year never many boats! !!! There is some nice cabins on the lake I think the name of them is bass haven! ! Some of u older members on c.c remember NoSLAB lives on the lake and he's the one that got me going down there.!!! It is as full of stumps as conway is and hard to get around! !! a great little lake with not much pressure. ..
Hey Meatgetter, can I just send you say $50 and you pick out what I need in the way of jigs, whatever ones you like best maybe? When I look at the catalog there are so many good looking jigs it makes my head spin. I want say half 1/16 and half 1/8oz. And I'd love to fish with you on lake Erling sometime, any lake for that matter, if you're willing. I need to learn all I can about catching crappie, it's an addiction I'm afraid.
Just got a report of some guys catching 140 Wednesday. I may have to go see my grandkids again this weekend.
