Not a new mold today so made some of these lil guys up. Was cold in the garage so didnt stay long.
I used leftover plastic and added softener and hawg sauce so they smell purdy.
How would you fish these? On a 1/32 jighead under a bobber. Think they will work?

I'd bet on them. are you selling any? I can think of different ways to fish them. under a cork, with a fly rod. tight lining.

I dont really sell baits but could possibly sell a bunch. Mold only makes 4 baits at a time so takes a bit of time to make a 20 pack.
I will have to try some green ones. Any other colors I should try?
Garage is just too cold this time of year though.
Curious, does any company sell something like this comercially?

I sold Senkos that were identical in size to Garys and had same softness and fall rate, but you could catch up to 50 bass on one bait. Sold like hotcakes.

lots of people on here post pictures of jigs they tie and don't sell them.

I think they would work. I would rig them the traditional way with a #8 hook, split-shot, and bobber.
Yellow, Black, and Green are some other colors you could try.

I would fish them under a balanced bobber. With a slight ripple causing the bobber to waggle they should be a good producer.
If using for Bream I'd try the traditional colors of Black,White, Yellow and if you have some maybe a Water Mellon flake. Should be good for Crappie also. I would fish it just like you said.
I don't think the fish really care what color they are ... especially if they're hungry !!
Black, & "tan" (light brown) are the only colors I know of for live crickets ... but, with all those legs dangling off those bodies, I doubt a fish would snub its nose up at them, whatever the color.
I mean, seriously ... when was the last time you saw a pink/chartreuse minnow swimming around your waters :yikes yet many fish are caught on this color combo !!

There are a few people on this site who have that mold. I passed on it because there were not enough cavities for me. I think you might can get one with more cavities now. I have never seen you post in the DIY soft plastics page before on here. Maybe you have and I jsut forgot. There are a lot of people with many types of molds and different styles of coloring. There is a lot of good info on that page if you have never been you should check it out.Quote:

Thanks Seeker. They make an 8 cavity too. Alot of extra plastic runner to reheat. 4 cavity is OK for my use. Can prob make a years supply in an hour :)

These are awesome, if you were making senko's that could stand abuse from 50 bass, for that matter 10 or more, you fixed the only deficiency those wonderful baits have! Shame you quit, the products on here look great and im sure you could sell your weight in them...........daily lol!
A little warmer out today although the garage was still cold. Made up a few more crickets (grasshoppers??) in some leftover green plastic I had. I added a little fine green, gold, and orange flake.

Here is a color I make called Chartreuse Pumpkin. Thicker body parts are pumpkin and thin parts and appendages are a lighter chartreuse. I also added some fine brown flake.

I'd tip a Gill Pill, Demon or Tear drop with those in a heart beat! If those legs give off the action then your in business. They all look good and I would say you may hope for warmer days due to the time needed in the garage after some see them lol
