Here's the deal, I'm off work tomorrow and Wednesday and would like to try my luck on tenkiller. Now tomorrow is colder than Wednesday, but Wednesday has more wind forecasted. So should I brave the cold or wait for a little warmer weather and fight the wind???
Don't know your scheduled but if it is as busy as mine and if I knew I had a day off or two and could fish it I would!

Go tommorrow, then when you catch your limit you can go Wednesday also!! You can't catch them on the couch. Wear your PFD, that water is colddddd!
I'm gonna try tomorrow if I can make myself go after I get kids on bus. A limit redge? I'd be happy just to catch 1-2. Hopefully I can find a few that'll bite so I'll be ready to go back again.

Didn't get to fish much, put in at petit bay and only made it to goat island when motor threw an overheat alarm. Manage to find one piece of structure and caught one crappie before deciding to limp back to ramp. Took boat to jimmy Houston's marine and they have it ready so I'm gonna try again in the morning🙏🙏

Lol redge. Better now than spring when the shops are so busy it takes a month to get to it. The fish I did catch was in 24 fow and came off blue thunder. Hoping to find more structure tomorrow, think I can catch a few if I can find the wood.

Little better luck today. Did take 40+ mins to get boat unloaded, it was froze to the trailer!!! Was able to find a few trees and catch a few fish today. Bite was a little slow for us, maybe we just didn't find the right spot yet? All in all, it was a good day on the water.
Beats working!! Did you just have to wait for the boat to thaw off the trailer ?
Beats work by a long shot!! Yes redge, just had to back it in and let the water thaw it out some till it floated off trailer. All I could think of was rangers experience last year when his boat slid off trailer on ramp due to ice. Was about ready to call him and ask him his secret. Lol. I tried to give it a little slack in strap and stop abruptly (with trailer in water of coarse) but that had no effect on it???
