Had one of my high school buddies out today and we caught some quality fish. All fish were caught long lining in 6' fow. The jig for the day was a silver and blue twister tail. We only fished about 3.5 hours and put some good ones in the boat. All fish were returned to fight again.

You should have kept a record of all the slabs you caught and released this winter. This has been your year for big fish. The hat seems to have a good meaning. Oh before I forget looks like i'll be staying for 3 1/2 more years.
I do have a record of what we caught Jim. We haven't fished in the last 10 days and looks like we may not fish very much before we return home. Wife and I landed 35 fish over 2 pounds and had double that much around 1 3/4 lbs. Have not totaled up the number of fish yet but I know it's over 1300 for the trip. I have all the numbers and weights in my book on the boat. Sorry to hear you are going to be working for 3 1/2 more years but what ever works best for you and Robin. I will talk to you soon, we may head home around the 16th if the weather permits.Quote:
