Good question.... I have an I-Phone and I did not know there were any fishing helper apps.
The APP you need is called Feelay, just follow him or his shadow Kdavid.
turn it off and fish !:Rofl:Rofl:Rofl:Rofl
Eagle1 has the right idea.
Why follow Feeley , just ride with him once a year. Get that fix.
One of these days, I am going to get down there and fish with Feelay!! It's on my bucket list!
I like the navionics app for us and Canada. cheap and has about everything a 150 buck sd card has. It does like battery power though.
The Weather Channel will give you high, low and wind speed for 10 days. The wind is not too accurate a few days out. It will also give you hourly forcast.
$1.99 My radar pro is the best app on my phone! Have the free weather channel and accu weather apps also.
Time2Hunt is a good one too, gives you sun-up and sun-downs, moon phases and stuff.
what Wilbur and Feelay both said--but if you just have to use the phone--Weatherbug, NOAA, and Rivergauges
for navigation--you should had GPS with navcard on your fishfinder:)
I have the iSolunar app on my iphone, its free and gives peak and minor hunting and fishing times, moon phase, sunrise & sunset and weather.
Windfinder is a great app and sure comes in handy.
Oh yeah---how about the snow :)
Might as well just settle in to our fine winter fishing :D
You know...l I never even take my cell phone out of the truck when I put my boat in the lake. Seems to sort of ruin the whole "getting away for a while" vibe. My wife usually brings hers though, and the constant ringing of the phone drives me to distraction. I have threatened to toss the damned thing into the lake on more than one occasion.....
Bad idea Jay, may come in handy in a time of need, just turn it off but you need to start carrying it.
What RG said
Definitely take the phone, comes in handy in emergency and you can choose to answer it or not.
What I am looking for is what is the app that lets me see current pool information, Height, discharge rate ect.
Ibobber! May be a good one. Available in April.

Followmee
Followmee is a GPS tracking device so someone can find you if they have the app and your permission. I fish by myself a lot, so my wife feels safer knowing where I am at. I do to.
Wives can use this app to spy.
Examples
A--- She knows when you visit your girlfriend, or when you're buying fishing tackle at one of the tackle shops.
B---She knows when to call Her boyfriend because she knows you're Really Fishin, or where ever you're at and how long it will take you to get home!!! :-)
