Pretty day today

Well it was a nice day for sure but the fish didn't cooperate too well. Crappie greg and i fished from 10 to dark and ended with a good box of fish. Saw several folks today Midsouth man, Shawnh, crappie pro, and Shane gent. Heck i even got to drive Gents new ride too. The water was busy with boats with rods whipping up and down and corks a flying but i think everyone struggled. Watch for the hazards as Greg's prop found one of them. Sure enough tough today! caught enough for a good size supper for the family but didn't get a limit. Tough, tough, tough bite for me.....unless you count the drum?!?!? Some good fish today just didn't have the numbers.....

Glad y'all had a good day, sure was wishing I has been off. Drove past strip pits and made me really think I could have better utilized the day better by fishing. Dang Greg you sure that's not my prop, looks just like mine:)

there is some concrete from the construction on the i-40 bridge that is in the water just out from the boat ramp toward the bridge , it will get ya!!! fun day indeed even though the fish didnt cooperate !

Went to Beaverfork this afternoon for a couple of hours. The bite was slow until just before dark and then it really picked up. Managed to catch 10.

Nice fish! After they are done with construction, we will make sure they clean things up and the channel under the bridge is cleared out.

After about two hours and no crappie my Grandson said lets go see a movie, see MEME and eat some pizza. I was easily convinced and took the skunk home. HAHA!!!
