You can get ego net from Grizzly Jig. One made by CrappieMaster or you can do it this way.

Ego is second to none.
Thanks guys. Believe ill try the paint pole. I thought about that. Just wasnt sure how to attacth it.
I used a telescopic tent pole, it slid right in the handle. A couple of sheet metal screws to hold it.
Another vote for ego!!
Just purchased an EGO and love the thing, wife does as well.
Get one they work so good, out and in.
Pepper
Cumings Net that Monks Crappie sells, it is great, can be taken apart and cleaned at will and the hoop is simple to change out if you ever need to.
i agree with rees guide on this one crappie master net is the way to go
Ego is a good net but it is shallow so be careful when netting big crappie. A 2# crappie can jump back out.
Wilbur go to the website and look on the left at the bottom of the page and click on the heading tackle and lures. Click on it and scroll down to where you see Crap E Net. The longest one is the one I have.
I used an extending frog gig pole and attached it to a cheapie net. put part of fun noodle on it in case it goes into water. You can hold the handle, the noodle will hold it up then just push it under the fish.
The girls found me a telascopic pool pole. It`s 10` closed and opens to 18`. works great with my long spyder rigging poles or shorter long lineing rods out the stern.
Just got done makeing mine. Extending painters pole(extendes from 5'7 to 9')$12.97, bolts .97. Less then 5 min and I was done. Looks great. Cant wait to try it . Thanks for the info guys
Hey Reese, I need to come fishing with ya and try your net out before I buy one lol.
Lol well I got a yami and it don't mind if I bring it over there lol.
It is not heavy at all. I have used Ego, I like this one better.
Crappie Masters net for spider rigging or power trolling jigs. EGO-2 Slider for pulling or pushing cranks. Here's a pic of one of the Crappie Masters nets fully extended to 160"

And the net head with small mesh so your weights won't fall through and tangle your lines. Attachment 148789
They make a rubber net head similar to the EGO-2 for this handle also.
Thanks for posting the pictures of the Crappie Masters net, been wanting to see one for awhile.
How much are those crappie masters nets?
