Fished El Dorado lake today by myself and caught a few crappie. Fishing wasn't the best and yes the Kansas winds blew. Went in early due to windy conditions and fishing alone. All fish were 22 foot down over 30. Hook'Em!!

My guesses on open boat ramps hasn't been very good lately Don. Shady Creek ramp was locked up hard yesterday but open water outside the wave breakers. Boulder Bluff ramp was open and not much ice around the dock either. Haven't been around to all the park ramps today to see what the single digits are doing. I'll check the ramps tomorrow afternoon and post a report...or call ya'! :Rofl:dono:popcorn

Basically, the extreme mainlake is open and all of the arms and upper ends are frozen. Might be tough for tomorrow...

main lake was ice free, shady creek area was iced up, the boat slips was open and around some of the floating docks.
Shane I am a new to Crappie tournements, and plan to fish some midwest crappie trail tourneys, (if they ever post a schedule???LOL) im hoping to hit the eldorado and melvern ones, Eldorado looks awesome from the road, just curious if that timber is throughout the lake like it looks from the road, any help would be appreciated, Thanks
