Setting out here on this Drill Ship last night and got word from my wife that someone got in the storage facility where I keep my boat and took all my fishing gear and boat batteries. I left early for work and didn't get my gear last time I left. I always get my stuff but thought since it setts under a camera I would be all good. 8 12' jigs and my pre tied double minnows rigs plastics cranks baits ugh the works.
Man that sure stinks bud. I miss fishing in la though.

I feel your pain; same thing happened to me a few years ago.
Check your home owners insurance; they may cover it.
Them no good suckers. I sure hate to hear that.

If you are like me...and you had a choice..
1. You never hear from your wife about this...and no one touches your stuff, its right there when you get home, just like you left it.
OR....
2. You can CATCH someone actually doing it to your stuff!!
I ALWAYS would choose #2!

If it makes you feel any better, the wind had been atrocious lately near Shreveport and in the last 2 weeks, there hasn't been maybe 2 days that the wind wasn't blowing. And, now you have a totally good excuse to stock up on some brand new equipment. Does the storage facility take care of reimbursement? I've n ever used one, luckily.

I hope that the Electronics didn't get taken also, They could be a Pawn shop items, that could help find who took your Equipment.
I can't stand a dadgum thief. I hope they got caught on camera and the police can find them.
That sucks big time. Was it your house? Can't stand people like that. Sure hope that a police report was filed at least.
I hate to hear about someone taking your stuff. It has happened to me three different times. The only consolation I had was that my homeowner's policy with State Farm covered me each time and I got new stuff. I don't know if your homeowner's policy will cover your loss, but it might be worth a call to your agent.
Prplgold sorry to hear that and hope those that are responsible will answer for it one day. Fish on line has a point, you may want to check the pawn shops in your area, probably taken by some thug that don't fish, just looking for a quick dollar. I paint a thin black line around my rods just above the handle and before the first and a small line around the reel base just so I can identify it if I ever see them on the lake or pawn shop.
Hope that camera is DVRing everything.
