I don't post much on here but lurk a lot. I have noticed there are a few folks who fish Catherine on here every once in a while. I was wondering if any of you might want to get together some and try to figure out the lake and fish a little better?

I have a weekend home there and when I was little we would really catch the fish. Not so much anymore. I am sure they are there, I just haven't found them. Usually there on the weekends from spring till fall.
I know a few places to catch them in the winter. But, late last spring, I consistently caught some of the biggest crappie I have ever caught. I am off the first of the week and am looking for some one to go looking with me.
I've caught a few nice fish out of Lake Catherine. I'm free on Sunday. Here lately that's the only day off work I get. Shoot me a message if you want to get together.
I am only off on Monday and Tuesday, but if you get a chance look me up, we can give em heck.
Houston, we have a problem. 2 years and 2 months with only 10 posts, no excuse. You do know there is a moderated forum with fishing reports that MAY or may not contain the secret to Lake Catherine fishing. You can only see it if you have 25 posts. So get to posting. I can help...If I post something you can use this reply "great post RCC". If Greg or Russ post you can use, "great fish ya'll". If BRM posts your can use "That's a great deal". If Jason, or Midsouth Man, or Ski Trip, or Chris posts "where you been" will do, If Nimrod posts you can reply "WOW that's a lot of drum". I may not can help a man catch a fish, but I can sure help someone get to 25 posts.:biggrin
Now for your first test...what "reply" should come after this post.
Great post RCC!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA
Call Creekslick ARranger, I'll loan ya 15-20 posts, but when you get 100, if I'm still alive, I want twice that many in return!!!!! :-)
Yall Trippn!!

Fished Katherine before. Never could catch fish in the main lake, had to get way back in the coves. Couches pocket was good , deep water close to the banks.Good tall banks to block the wind . Go get them.
Since we have a few catherine fishermen on here I have a question. Do you pronounce Tigre Bay as Tiger like the animal or like the one off Winnie the Pooh? Ive heard both and become more confused everytime I hear it. Thanks
My family has lived on the lake since 1942 and we have always called it Couchwood Bay. I think the bay is named tiger because Mr Couch had an exotic wildlife sanctuary.
Poor nimrod RCC you had me rolling
