My lousy fishing day

Started out by spilling a full cup, big gulp cup of coffee in my lap, oh well at least with the long johns on it was a warm fuzzy feeling, then on to the lake, put in up by the 215 bridge, water was calm and not a boat in sight, Launched the boat, and headed out and turned around and hit my GARMIN astro 220 and knocked it off into 40 ft of water, crap ola, made it to the first brush pile, nothing, second again nothing, moved around, looking for shad, not to be found, headed back thought I would move to new area, slipped and fell on the dock, tripped on a nail sticking up, wrenched my back and twisted my knee. hobbled over to the new area, ran into daydreamer, he said it is a waist of time, visited for a bit, and came home took a nap from 2 till 4:30 still in a bad mood , so bugger off fish

Sorry for your bad day on the water. Give it a couple days and you will be ready to get after them again!

I just knew since I had to work on such a great day when I got home there would be fish pics. Well its a good story.

I had a MUCH better day.....Yea worked again!

Well I stayed home today as last night's forecast said windy today. Been grouchy all day because of there was hardly any wind most of the day.

Dangit beagle I thought my day was bad UNTIL I ran into you. Sorry you had a bad day. I only had 2 fish total today. BUT I didn't hurt my self or loose anything but pride and Yes we both will survive today. Thanks for the visit.

Sorry for your bad day, but it would have made a great video. Maybe you got all the bad stuff over for a while.

what hurt the most was loosing the garmin, now I have three tracking collars and no receiver, what a bummer.

You plannin' on suin yourself for damages with the hot coffee?

seems like we all have a couple days like that every year, days when ya just shoulda stayed in bed... frustrating but coffee and GPS can be replaced, hope your knee and back don't give ya too much grief and next time will be better!

Seems like a bad day (except for the nap), but I have been told a bad day of fishing is better than a day at work. Remember things will bet better.

You are not from California obviously or you would have sued whoever sold you hot coffee and won a big award from a jury of fruit and nuts.

Sorry about all the mishaps. However it is good to hear that other people have days lit I do. In fact lately most of them have been that bad. You know the saying, Around my house, when it rains, it pours.
