1st got the cheap net from Walmart remove it from the net ring got a frabill rubber replacement net put it on the wlamart ring the frabill was a little big but it will go on then went to lowe and got 12' extened paint pole I attach net ring too paint pole using 3/4 " screws. Three of them than I put pipe foam on it about 18" now the black attachment that come with the Walmart net that is what you use to put it on the paint pole. Hope this help.

The net ring add 2' to the setup 8' close out 14' pole was a12' extention pole you can get the pole 6', 8',10' 12' & I think all the way to 24'.
Got the replacement rubber net Bass pro shop that was my highest cost I think $22 make sure its deep 20" or so

Made mine today. I've got about $$25 in mine. The paint pole was in clearance at Home Depot for $18. Fully extended its 10' long. Plenty long enough for me. Thanks again for the ideas.
may have been academy for the rubber 7.99 net.
Bought a super nice small hole rubber net at Academy today, think it will fit my Crappie Master net and is deep.
Just checked at Walmart and there was a long line. Thought a load of ammo had come in. Turns out everyone was buying rubber nets and paint roller poles. They sold the last one just as I got to the counter...danged lurkers:biggrin
The ultimate is the Snerd net. You can just reach over to your buddies boat (30ft away), and net his fish rather than catch your own.
In I have folks fishing with me I keep mine fully extended and just reach over their shoulders and he their fish!!:biggrin
Naw, just trick photography. Some people hold their fish way out. I just do the same trick with my net. It is really just 15-16 feet long.
I always wondered how Gomer had a boat load of fish, and only had a net with him. I'm learning new tricks everyday on this site!!! :-)
I've been using one of those paint roller extension for years as a push pole/lure retriever. It's held up in the salt pretty well. Got an old net I'm not using, think I'll keep an eye out for another extension. Thanks for the idea!
I was looking for the crappie master net but cant seem to locate one. I have the old fashioned net with silver handle. I didnt like the net deep so i just tied it up a little to shallow the net up. I would like a rubber net thougb

Here is an easy way that works great..... buy the longarm paint pole. Then get the ego s2 slider net that screws into theAttachment 148662Attachment 148663 s2 slider pole. It will also screw directly into the end of the paint pole and the whole thing floats since the net of the s2 slider floats. And yes ive used em all, CM, Ego Reach and Ego S2 Slider and I like this one the best.
I cut the threaded insert off of an old paint roller handle, cut my net handle off 4" from the net and tapped it into the hollow opening. Three pop rivets later I now have one that telescopes out and unscrews for easy storage.
