Welcome Aboard
Hello dirtydave...you may want to travel North to Rousseau or the Tsala Apopka Lakes. That's about all I have on the subject for that area. Maybe Chuck from Brooksville has more info for ya. Glad you joined in on the fun.
If you have a boat, one of best crappie lakes within 30 miles of you is
Lake Tarpon..........(Anderson Park, off hwy 19 is best entrance)
Excellant crappie, bass, bluegill fishing. 2,500 acres plus.

There in there...............have seen many a 2 pounder come out of there, also
rummors that i man caught 2 - 3 pounders in one day about 2 yr ago, but have
never seen them even though he claims they are mounted.
WELCOME...from the shores of Lake Conway, Arkansas.
I have taken some nice ones out of Tarpon at night over ten years ago fishing with minnows.....21 of them. Put them in a bucket and went weigh them with one of those Zebco scales and it broke it, I think it went to 50lbs. Have never tried the artificial so have a couple drift masters to install and add another depth finder to front and I will be going after them. Will there be a tournament Feb. 1 on tarpon. If so what time does it start?
Yes there will a tournament on February 1st. Launch & weigh in will be at
Anderson Park. Hopefully this in & out cold fronts will slow up and allow the
spec's to settle down a little
