UV protection fishing gloves

Does anyone use them and can recommend a pair i had a spot on the top of my hand removed the doctor told me to start wearing uv gloves

I've got some but have to admit I've not used 'em, but BPS and Cabelas have 'em, as well as most fly fishing stores, especially the on-line ones.

Started using them a couple of years ago after the same thing. I have a pair from BPS and Cabelas. Any of them should be good. Get you a good sun hat also. Have had several frozen and cut off my face and nose.

Smoker craft you might want to look at those new sleeves Cabelas has. Especially if you wear short sleeves in summer.

Thanks for info! I have been thinking about hand protection. I never ever fish in short sleeves, I always wear a uv shirt.

Yep, I use those also and several other kinds from BPS. Also, consider face protection like Shaw Grigsby wears.

I hate wearing gloves (even in the winter). I use Bullfrog (Surfer's Formula) sunblock. Most "waterproof" sunblock either doesn't stay waterproof or breaks my skin out. However, Bullfrog is the best that I have found for staying on when in and around water. I also use it on my nose/ears etc (and I wear a hat).

I have a straw stetson hat with sunblock in the brim its lite and comfy and been in the water a few times and still holding its shape i now use the chin strap on windy days or while running big motor lol i been looking on flebay and the web for gloves Just havent decided yet its only 10 degrees here and have awhile before im back on the water
