Has anyone tried these? They are the 2" Bobby Garland-baby shad-lights out.
These babies can really attract the crappie. I hooked into 30 crappie on the same jig before I had to change it out. You have to go and get you some of these!!!
The top one is the "swimming" version of the lights out baby shad.

I haven't tried the "swimming" type version yet, but I have quite a few bags of the regular baby shad. A great crappie bait!
the baby shad is a good bait for sure , haven't used that one but the" licorice- chartreuse" (pearl lam) is very similar . while single pole fishing they are my top plastic baits .Attachment 147752Attachment 147753" patriot" on a pink head is my favorite in clear water/ stained . the "black gum" and the" licorice - chart ." in muddy/ heavy stained water

Bobby Garland Is a great Bait Company...and Crappie Pro approved. :ThumbsUp I love BG products and yes I have many of those baits and use them Often. One of the very Best Jig Company's you can invest your money In. IMO
Bobby garland baits are my go to baits some of the best baits for crappie fishing you can get in my opinion and since there based out on Tulsa Oklahoma I like em even more
Monkey milk and blue ice work great when they want lighter colors.
I like the bobby garlands jig body Blue ice, e chicken is one of my best goto lures.

I used to just fish them straight down but last spring I started throwing them against the rip rap and caught both white bass as well as slabs. Love the chicken as well as BBQ.
I use them for crappie and for drop shotting for smallmouth. have also caught some walleyes with them.
Bobby Garland makes some great baits on the Baby Shad my go to color is the Electric Chicken after that what ever color that is working is my favorite for the moment.
It would be interesting to list all the different kinds of fish caught on the Baby Shad. For my self I have caught crappie, white bass, bluegills, green carp, one small flathead, several small channels, a few white cats, no walleye yet might happen if I get lucky enough.

Blue ice and Monkey Milk are great colors in the swimming on and the regular one.
Bass Pro has them for 2.47 a pack right now.
