Slab hammer. I was on south side between lake des allemands and lake bouef. Which canal is the tank battery canal you fished

Realy not shur if you go to Google maps the launch is on 22 go follow river away from the launch pan out the map the canal looks like a y and camps on it

I was fishing 3 to 3 1/2 feet. Deep. The other boats I saw we're fishing 1 to 2 feet deep but fished seemed to be deeper. Not surprising as water was very cold
I know of an area in Bayou Bouef (buff) that has stumps deep in the middle of the bayou that could be holding some of those Sacs....
Majority of them were on limbs and logs. Etc. course not surprising. As I fish wood structure most of the time.
