Minnkota
I got a Minn Kota.......if it ever dies going to replace with Minn Kota.
For slow trolling, Minn Kota hands down. :ThumbsUp
MK Ipilot link
Minkota. Don't like anything I have read about Motorguide elec steer. And hated the couple of their cable steers I have owned.
Minnkota I pilot!!!
Go Minn Kota!
Minn Kota.....I owned a Motorguide once! Never again!
I love my Minn Kota I pilot. It makes it so much easier to fish in the wind, even high wind. It makes my battery charge last forever. It is probably the best thing I ever splurged on. Good luck, Wes
Don't listen to none of them guys, Fuzbo....Her is what you need to do...Git you a Minn Kota!!
Tim
I bout decided they dont make but one kind. Hope to have one headed tis way by Tues AM.
Thanks
You won't be sorry you got a Minn Kota. I have one of the earlier Power Drive models with auto pilot and is still going after several years. I have only had to replace the pedal control once. I will tell you one thing when they say that shaft is unbreakable you better believe it. Best be sittin down if yer in the front if ya hit a stump. The recoil from that baby will sure put yer boat in reverse quick.:yikes
Good luck fishin.
I use a Minn Kota but there are oyner options. I would get this one before I buy a Motor Guide. Dont listen to TNT!
like that one now put cables on it to the big battery .:Rofl:biggrin
All Ive EVER owned were MK's. Never had one to die on me either. Owned boats with trolling motors (all MK's) since I was 18 years old. I'd stick with MK's.
Kota
Minn Kota !!! GET IN THE BOAT BOBBY! Remember that commercial, a classic.
Minn Kota Powerdrive V2...fish the best.
Trying to convince Detailman to get a MK too!

I have a 12 volt, 55 lb. thrust, bow-mount Powerdrive V2 (no I-Pilot or Link) for sale for $300.00. Bass Pro has new ones for $590.00.
I used it about a year but couldn't control it good enough to shoot docks and for fishing the river so I replaced it with a 55 lb. Terrova.
Same here......loved the motor for trolling but never could get used to the electronic foot control and went back to cable. For my use, cable is more versatile but not so if you are a dedicated troller I guess.
Thanks for all the input. Im biting the bullet and got a MK on order. Now does any body need the head off a MK edge 45lb tiller? I will hold on to it fer a while fore I chunk it. PM and let me know.
