Lifes blood

Don't know how many of yall drink coffee but it is lifes blood to me.Well the old percolator went out yesterday so I went looking for a new one.Got on the net and Wally World said they had a few units in Senatobia and I would have to order 1 and have it shipped to store in Southaven if I wanted one from the Southaven store.Well I took a ride down there and they had nothing but the display. Needless to say I was kinda hot so I headed back toward the house and decided to go to the store in Southaven and pick up a few other things that I needed. Well lo and behold they had 4 percolators on the shelf and I snatched me one and had me a good ole cup of perked java this morning!

Bet it was a lot cheaper than that Keurig machine my wife uses. I've tried many times to drink coffee...just can't develop a taste for it. I love the way it smells, but it just tastes nasty to me.

I love coffee. That's the first time I have seen a percolator used in years

I've lived coffee since I was a young kid. Don't drink it all the time but love it and the stronger the better. If it don't make you want to jump up and slap you're mamma it ain't coffee :)

not a chance on that !!! you would rather fight a mountain lion in a telephone booth then slap my momma she hit you in the head so fast with a cast iron skillet you wouldn,t know if you was coming or going for sure !!!

Didn't know they even made those kind anymore. Wish I could find one of the old percolators you sit on the stove. Have bought a couple of cheap so called camping percolators and they are useless. Tried to get Mom to give up her's but that ain't happening.

I bought me a stainless steel percolator that you put on top the stove in Knoxville, TN at a camping store I had it for 18 years and that thing to this day still makes a great cup of coffee!!!:ThumbsUp

I've got a ole blue enamel one I use for camping that I use on my cook stove!I just like it perked better than that auto drip!

I gotta have about 2 cups every morning, after that I'm done. Now you got me wanting a percolator

Cray, go to google and type in "stove top perculator". I just did that and they have many to choose from . Some look pretty good for the price.

at Target for $20. It is a heavy duty stainless steel one which made the price even better. Takes a while for it to make so I use it on those really cold rainy mornings when hearing coffee perking kind of lifts your spirits.

Thanks, I'll do that. Sure needed one month or so ago when we lost power. Got gas stove but Hobo coffe don't get it with the wife:Rofl

If you got a Target near you check them. I did not see it when I googled them, but we got a really nice stove top one for $20 which is about half what we saw elsewhere. It is a Farberware Classic Series. Found this one when I googled walmart: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Farberware...em+Description

Just don't use credit cards at Target.

Haven't drank out of a percolator in years. I love my coffee. My 3rd cup of the day is setting beside me now.

Got one of those stainless camp pots and we keep it handy in case power goes out.Also keep a coleman stove handy and my gas grill has a small burner I can use.
